From Shijiazhuang XinhuaNet on September 21st-sep23rd  According to China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the eleventh China (Anping) International Wire Mesh Fair will be held from September 21st~ 23rd at the Hometown of Wire Mesh - Anping, Hebei province.

The wire mesh industry in Anping County develops quickly, and has been conferred the titles of “The Hometown of Wire Mesh in China ”, “China Wire Mesh Base”, “Production & Sales Base of Wire Mesh in China”. At present, Anping has become the biggest industry base in China, and the world biggest distribution and collection center of wire mesh, forming the pattern of “China takes the lead of world wire mesh, while Anping makes the running of China wire mesh”

Wire mesh, as the traditional industry of Anping County, has a history of more than 500 years. In recent years, Anping County vigorously carries out the strategy of “vitalizing the county through distinguishing features, opening up, science education, and information”, and continuously presses ahead the upgrade of wire mesh industry. Presently, the county has developed wire meshes of 8 series, more than 400 varieties, and over 6,000 specifications, engages 140 thousand employees, with an annual capacity of 2.24 million tons of wire drawing and 0.5 billion square meters of wire mesh, and accounts for above 80% of the national production & sales volume and output amount.

By virtue of companies and businessmen raising money, Anping has built a top domestic trade mart - Anping Wire Mesh World, and more than 1,000 companies have been stationed. Connecting with over 6,000 wire mesh stores nationwide, Anping Wire Mesh World hit the annual amount of RMB4.8 billion. From 2001 the first wire mesh fair, 7 sessions of wire mesh fair have been held, and 100 thousand businessmen in total have taken part in the fair, including 1,800 foreign ones. Besides greatly promoting the development of Anping wire mesh, the fair also made a profound impact both at home and abroad.
